For part (c), does the requirement of having water-resistant flooring at the entryway apply to individual units in a multi-family building?
In multi-family buildings, if individual units have doors that open to the exterior, these entryways must meet the prerequisite. In buildings where the units open to enclosed common corridors, this prerequisite must be met in the following way: 1) all building entryways must include water-resistant flooring within 3 feet of the exterior doors; and 2) either individual units also meet the prerequisite OR the common entrance to the building has a walk-off mat that meets the requirements for EQ 8.2.
