For SS 2.2, 2.3, 2.4, and 2.5, should all designed landscaped softscape areas be included, or only those on the buildable land? For example, if a project has a setback or easement, but this is disturbed during construction and re-landscaped, should the area be included in the calculations for these credits?
Ruling
Any designed landscape softscapes must be included in the SS 2 credits. These calculations should not only include "buildable land"; if easements or setbacks are disturbed, then these areas must be included in the calculations if the project team has any control over the landscaping decisions.
