Projects should follow the LEED Rating System Selection Guidance. 4 and 5-story projects that meet all of the following criteria, may use LEED BD+C: Homes and Multifamily Lowrise: (1) at least 80% of the building’s conditioned floor area is in-unit residential space, or (2) those that are required to certify to ENERGY STAR for Homes in order to meet local incentives or other local requirements.
