Hello SDL Network,
I am working with members of the Seattle AIA COTE in planning an event that we are tentatively calling "Pathways to Decarbonization" or maybe "Decarbonization Success Stories". The idea is for the COTE to identify entitities (school districts, local governments, higher-ed institutions, corporations, etc.) that have embarked on programs to decarbonize their building stock and ask them to share their experiences so that others may learn from them and be encouraged to follow suit. The idea is to reach beyond the choir of like-minded architects and see if we can engage a broader audience. We are looking for examples of organizations who are presently creating or implementing decarbonization plans and who would be willing to share their experiences. Or if any of you who have experience with similar efforts, are you willing to share your expeience with us? We are at the very beginning of what could be a substantial effort, so any ideas or help from the SDL would be appreciated.
