Hi all,
We are working on a project that consists of two separate buildings (different project ID) on a campus site. Those two buildings would be totally separated with the exception of one common underground basement level which would be shared between the two buildings.
Any advice on how this should be treated from an energy modeling point of view? On what criteria should the basement split be based on?
Thank you.
Kind regards,
Nikos

The energy models should be separated according each project's LEED project boundary. There is guidance on how to draw such boundaries. https://www.usgbc.org/credits/new-construction-core-and-shell-schools-ne...
