NC-v4 EAp2:Minimum energy performance

Passive House Certification

We have a school project that is considering both PHIUS certification and LEED certification. I found ID #10486 which allows multifamily projects to use PHI/PHIUS certification to demonstrate compliance with Minimum Energy Performance/Optimize Energy Performance. I have not been able to find anything similar specifically for commercial/institutional projects. Is anyone aware of any precedent for using PHI/PHIUS certification towards LEED BD+C?

Matthew, I've only seen the interpretation you mentioned, so you might want to ask USGBC that question, as it seems a reasonable approach. You could start with customer service, and they might indicate whether this would warrant a formal interpretation request. We just need someone to be the first to ask!
