Historic building in a non-historic district

As the subject header suggests, we have a historic building in a non-historic district. Does anyone thing there is potential to still earn the credit? Perhaps a credit interpretation request would be the best course of action?

Hi Sara, agreed that a CIR (or at least start with reaching out to GBCI) is your best course of action. The credit and ref guide language don't reference historic buildings at all, and I'm not aware of any guidance for historic buildings. You might be able to justify earning the credit on an individual project basis.
