De,
we’re currently involved in a project of a new hospitality building in Europe that is pursuing LEED certification. In what relates with Indoor Water Use Reduction credit, since this is an hospitality project, it is eligible to earn 1 point related with appliance and process water.
Considering project characteristics, this point can be earned complying with requirements from Table 2 Compliant Commercial Washing Machines. However, equipment to be installed is All-in-One Washer/Dryer. Due to this, these machines are not eligible for Energy Star certification.
The question is: are we unable to earn this credit due to this peculiarity, or if we comply with some other requirement (e.g. kWh/cycle, liter/cycle) the point can still be achieved?
Best regards,
