NC-2009 EAp2:Minimum Energy Performance

Baseline for natural ventilation

Greetings,

In the project we are modeling, there are rooms with natural ventilation, the airflow of which has been entered as ventilation air.

For the Baseline we’ve entered the same values as ventilation air (outdoor air), as the approach in such cases are to be identical.

The question related to Baseline is for the requirements of G3.1.2.9.1 (20F difference). Should we follow this requirement, or also to arranged it identically to Proposed (meaning only for the rooms with natural ventilation).

The Baseline supply airflow should always follow this requirement, regardless of ventilation method.
