Would anyone know if the HFO R-1233zd is cleared by USGBC as a zero CFC refrigerent. A number of large manufacturers are using this refrigerent in their large water cooled magnetic bearing chiller offerings. There appears to be a very low CFC element of 0.00034 in the refrigerent depending on the source manufacturer. There is an argument that the ODP is so low that this substance is not subject to restrictions. Its not any banned list of refrigerents or listed as an ODP substance in the Montreal protocol.
