Hi all,

As follow-up to the summit, I’m attaching a draft letter on MEP embodied carbon written by our group (Luke, Kristy, Adam). The goal is to start a dialogue with manufacturers to include embodied carbon info for major equipment. Will explain more on the call. Please read in advance if you get the chance!

Hi all. Great discussion today on this topic. Here is an update to the letter. Action items: 1. Read letter overall and submit comments. 2. Provide feedback for top 5 MEP equipment that we should consider first 3. What does a phased integration look like - UL provided a suggestion. We will need to decide. Thanks!

Attached is a copy of the overall letter with my comments and suggestions. My recommendation is to narrow the scope of the initially targeted equipment to refrigerant based equipment but open for discussion. I also think follow up with equipment manufacturers is important prior to formalizing a phased integrated approach.
