Water-resistant flooring

The credit states to "use water resistant flooring; do not use carpet." Is there a specific list of what LEED considers to be water resistant flooring? Or does the credit simply mean not to use carpet? Context - the client wants to use natural wood floors throughout the kitchen and doesnt want tile. Would this meet the criteria?

Using wood flooring is ok in terms of quality health and sustainability, but what type of wood should be used?
