Is this a Design or a Construction credit?

Hi,

Is this a design credit or a construction credit? Wanting to substitute v4 “Renewable energy” (a design credit) and “Green power and carbon offsets” (a construction credit) with this credit. I don’t have access to a full v4.1 project on LEED Online, is there any other way to know?

I can't find it either. My guess is it depends on how you are pursuing the credit. If using an on-site system I suppose you could submit it as a design credit. If buying RECs I suppose a construction credit. Even if it is a design credit you can always defer it to the construction review phase.

Marcus, that sounds logic. This project would in some sense have liked it to be reviewed now, they are going for platinum and it’s a bit dodgy to leave it until later. But on the other hand, we don’t think we’ll be able to get all information together yet for a while, they’re buying electricity from a nearby solar plant. So, it’ll probably be better to submit it in construction.
