NC-v4 SSc6:Light pollution reduction

Light Pollution Reduction

Hi, my project on new factory has football pitch facility on the roof top. Since it is on the higher level, I assume it wouldn't cause any light pollution. Does the lighting still need to meet the BUG rating? Also, any activities on the football pitch will only be allowed until 10pm where the lights will be shuts off.

Please verify if this would still complies with Light Pollution Reduction credit

Your assumption would be incorrect.  On the roof doesn't help or hurt.  All exterior lighting within the project boundary must be compliant.

This is very difficult for athletic fields.  The fixtures don't have BUG ratings because their tilt varies from head to head.  The BUG rating is one of two ways to document compliance.  The other calculation method is difficult because they have a large amount of uplight.

This is neither facade nor landscape lighting so the planned shutoff at 10pm is irrelavent.
