Hello Toshif - Density Calculation should use the surrounding area one-quarter mile (400 meters) from the project boundary (density offset), here CI scope area. If there is enough density excluding the whole mall, I would document the density calculations by that way. If not would simply exclude the CI project scope area from the calculation and do the density calculation. I would also include narrative stating the approach used in density calculations.  Diverse Uses - Again same approach here, if there are nearby 8 or more diverse uses. I would not inlcude any uses within the mall.  Generally, CI Retails can use diverse uses within the mall to document compliance with this credit. Just use google map from CI project to several uses, take screenshot showing the walking distance and document the use. Also, explain your case in the LEED Form, as required.  Hope this helps! 

Hello Toshif,  You can attempt Case 2: Dense and/or Transit-Served Location, No Parking Provided option, when the project has no allocated parking. You can provide a narrative stating this or provide a confimration letter from mall management that the retail space has not been provided with any allocated parking spaces.  Thanks!
