Deadline to respond to preliminary review

Hi LEED Users,

I am facing an urgent problem. Our team has received Preliminary Review for our project ( LEED V4， CS ) two months ago， for some unforeseen reason，we miss the received and review information. Must we respond in 20~25 business days?  May I do something to remedy？

In they early days of LEED it was common for proejcts I was involved with to take longer than the 20-25 business days to respond to preliminary reivew comments.  I would send an email requesting an extension.  The extension was always granted.
