Hi,
We are working on a project that includes 13 floors that spans a 35 story commerical building. I have a few general questions about process:
1. I planned to only include the 13 floors (not all adjacent to one another) in the project. Is this the correct approach or would the whole building need to be included in the Baseline & Proposed models? Currently we only have the inscope floors and have assigned adiabatic levels above & below as appriopriate, but unsure if this is the correct approach.
2. The AHU and plant equipment serving the project is not being renovated and not within scope. Is the Baseline still req to be ASHRAE 90.1-2010, or should existing configuration, efficiencies, be used in the Baseline (and kept consistent with the Proposed)?
3. There is minimial design documentation available from the base building engineers, however, we do have total supply and outdoor air CFM, and fan HP values. What would reviewers expect for mechanical documents for base AHU and plant equipment out-of-scope of the renovation?

1. That approach should work.
2.The baseline is 90.1-2010.
3. Yes and make sure you tell them how you derived these values for your spaces from the whole building values.
