CI-2009 EAc1.4:Optimize Energy Performance—Equipment and Appliances

Hotel with no guest.

How would one calculate the energy used if there are not any guest to calculate for? Covid-19 will change many of the models we use and highlights the need to look at plug load as a real cost. My machines have a 6.1 kwh/100 lbs.@ 90/70 rating and will not be used for 3 months...at $0.07 per kWh is that about $140 per machine over the 3 month timeline?

You should assume that the facility is operating normally, with normal occupancy rates. You should not assume the current situation is normal or expected in the future.
