Controller efficiency no longer available to demonstrate irrigation water use reductions?

Hi all

it seems that controller efficiency (CE) no longer is allowed to be used in calculating design irrigation water use in V4/4.1 for this credit. Is that your understanding? If I'm wrong on this, please point me to where it shows me how to enter the relevant controller information.

See the "About WaterSense" portion of the Outdoor Water Use Reduction credit "Further Explanation" section. WaterSense weather-based irrigation controllers can contribute a 15% reduction for the credit, but cannot contribute to the 30% reduction in the prerequisite. I have not found a USGBC calculator that includes this, so it appears project team will have to build their own calculator to take deductions for efficiency, alternative water sources, and smart scheduling technologies.
