NC-v4 EAp2:Minimum energy performance

standards for heat recovery efficiency

I am considering a Japanese air-air heat recovery system (exhaust air energy recovery). Its efficiency is evaluated according to the Japanese standard JIS B 8628-2003 (heat exchange efficiency 79.6%) and according to the European standard EN 308:1997 (heat efficiency 73%). According to which conditions shall the efficiency be evaluated for Appendix G of ASHRAE 90.1-2010?

I don't see a referenced standard in 90.1 for determining the efficiency of heat recovery equipment. So I assume you can use the one that makes the most sense to you as long as you have justification for the number you use.
