Hello all,
I'm working on a 20,000 sf fit-out project that is part of a 500,000 office building. The 50% AEDG Small/Medium Office Building includes buildings up to 100,000 sf. I wanted to double check that the 100,000 sf requirement for the 50% AEDG Office Building is for the entire building, and not just the fitout (therefore we are ineligible for this credit).
Can anyone confirm? The Reference manual isn't clear enough for me, but I believe that's what it is getting at with "AEDG Criteria apply to the base building property, not the tenant space" on pg 175.

Your building is larger than those covered by the AEDG so it does not apply to your project.

Checking in to see if there have been any updates to this credit. I have been in the same situation as RDK. I can't provide an energy model because I don't know how the other 480,000 SF of building is operating, and I am excluded from using the AEDG tables, regardless of how efficient my space is. Seems like a gap in the Optimize Energy credit for tenant infills unless I am missing something.

Under LEED v4.1 there are prescriptive options that simply reference exceeding some of the 90.1-2016 prescriptive measures. All v4 projects can directly substitute any of the v4.1 credits.
