Dear Sir/Madam,
I am modeling DES under Path 1 ASHRAE 90.1 for an office building. In the Min. Energy Perf, Calculator under Water Side HVAC I started entering the values. According to the following instructions/notes, we are supposed to model the Baseline with 82°C or based on actual temp. according to loop conditions? Our proposed case would be modeled with secondary pump only with 60°C hot water temp.
• 180°F (82°C) per G3.1.3.3
• ASHRAE 90.1 (Path 1) or Full DES (Path 2): Purchased Energy - Baseline supply temperature based on actual HHW/Steam loop conditions in Proposed Case
The bold text refers only to DES Path 2 ?

The bold text applies to both Path 1 and Path 2. In both of these paths the purchased energy is modeled as cost-neutral and therefore the Proposed design temperatures are used in both cases.
