CS-v4 EAc1:Enhanced commissioning

CxA Role - Limited central plant installed

Hi, We are working on a LEED project where the client is considering installing minimal central HVAC plant as part of the core and shell works. Therefore the role of the CxA will be somewhat limited. Is there any issues with this ? The HVAC plant will be installed by future tenants and therefore will be outside the leed scope for this project other than meeting minimum efficiency values. Any guidance on this would be helpful. Thanks

In general, you can only commission what is installed. The scope and boundary of the Core and Shell should be clearly defined to note what is and what is not in the commissioned system.
