Hello to all LEED user experts,
In our project the AHU contains a hifh efficiency heat exchanger.
Based ib table 6.5.6.1 of ASHRAE 90.1-2010 also the Baseline building shall have a heat exchanger.
The enthalpy perforamance based on paragraph 6.5.6.1 of ASHRAE 90.1-2010 must be 50% and also must contain bypass.
1) The Control of the bypass will be the same as the proposed building?
2) Do you have any suugestions about the pressure drop of the heat exchanger in the baseline building?
The heat exchanger of the proposed building will be with very low pressure drop, and I was wondering if this would be positive in comparison with the basline.
THank you all
Best regards

1. The Baseline would only bypass the heat exchanger during economizer operation, which may differ from the bypass control of the Proposed building
2. Since Appendix G does not define a pressure drop, you could either model it identical to the Proposed heat exchanger, or use the formula in Table 6.5.3.1.1B: (2.2 x Energy Recovery Effectiveness)-0.5 in w.c. for each airstream.
