Hospitality-NC-v4 EQc6: Interior lighting
Dear All,
According to reference guide, guest rooms are assumed to have adequate controls (hospitality scheme). We are certifying a student’s dorm room, with one student per room only (like a guest room). Can the rooms in our project be excluded from credit calculations, like guest rooms are?

we lost this credit on a dorm project recently because we could not demonstrate that the rooms had either owner-provided task lights or multiple lighting levels. That was LEED-NC, not Hospitality, but it's a lot less common for dorms to provide task lamps than for hotels to provide desk/reading lamps, so I wouldn;t count on being able to exclude them.
