PV Panles over compliant white membrane with a high SRI

Hi Everyone.

I have an array of pv panels that will be installed over a compliant white membrane with a high SRI.
How should I count that area?
I know that I can exclude the area covered by pv panels (appurtnances), so that means I can not count the total area covered with the high SRI  membrane? (membrane - the area covered of PV panels)?
The calculations are confusing to me, it seems that I comply easily if I simply do not exclude the area covered by the pv panels*

Usually we've subtracted the area of the PV panels and mechanical equipment from the total roof area to get a "net" roof area. Then the area of high SRI roof membrane that you have installed is calculated as a percentage of the net roof area.
