Dear SDL: Thanks to all who have already given their support to the AIA Resolution on Urgent and Sustained Climate Action. We're into the final push of getting out the vote to pass the resolution next Wednesday, June 5th afternoon in Las Vegas. This requires 2/3s of the voting delegates to pass. So we're asking anyone who 1) is attending as a delegate or 2) can support passage with those coming from your chapter as delegates for their help.
The final resolution is attached along with a summary of the recommendations and the voting process (it's tricky!).
If anyone from this esteemed group is going to be a delegate and is willing to make a statement in support on the floor that would be TERRIFIC! Please let me (mary.ann.lazarus@gmail.com) or Betsy del Monte (b2delmonte@gmail.com) know. We'll help out with some talking points.
