Hi folks,
I’m excited to be welcoming Meredith Elbaum and Nellie Reid into this forum! Meredith and Nellie were the duo that originally conceived of the Sustainable Design Leaders network back in 2008, and led the effort (with BuildingGreen’s support) through it’s early years.
They later left their SDL roles, so they haven’t been included since we tightened up the rules. But it’s high time we brought them back in!
Nellie is a sustainability consultant in Ireland, so she’s also part of the newly formed Sustainable Advising Leaders peer network that BuildingGreen is facilitating. I’ll let her say more about her work if she chooses to (re)introduce herself to the group.
Meredith is now executive director of USGBC Massachusetts—an unaffiliated chapter. We don’t have a peer network for nonprofit EDs, so she’s just in this Green Gurus forum and not in any of the peer networks. (So we’re straying from protocol to include her here, but as cofounder of the network, it’s the least we can do!)
