Peer Networks Meetup at Living Future--5:30 Thursday Room #604

I think it now qualifies as a tradition! We've arranged a room where we can gather for an hour and check in during the Thursday afternoon reception time at Living Future. If you'll be there, come join us!

Thursday, May 2 at 5:30, Skykomish Room (#604, 6th floor)

We'll be mostly Sustainable Design Leaders, as that's by far our largest group, but there will hopefully be some Sustainable MEP Leaders, Sustainable Advising Leaders and Sustainable Construction Leader joining as well. The circle is expanding!

Any suggestions on a topic for us to focus on?

A quick reminder: if you're in Seattle today (either for Living Future or because you just live here), come join us for this meet-up!  5:30, Skykomish Room (#604, 6th floor)

I'll be thinking of y'all today. I wasn't able to make Living Futures, and probably won't make AIA in Las Vegas. I really hate to miss the small firm peer group kick off in LV, and wanted to ask if there would be any way to participate or listen in virtually?

Hi Rebecca, Sorry to have missed getting back to you before the meet-up--it's been a whirlwind here at Living Future!  But it wouldn't have been feasible to set up a way to listen in or participate virtually--maybe setting that up is something we can look into for future occasions. In lieu of that, here's my quick report. We spent a little while just chatting informally in small groups. Then we made a big circle, and I explained our new structure with parallel peer networks and the one shared Green Gurus network/forum. Most were already clear on this, but there were some new faces in the room, and it's a big change for the old-timers so it seemed worth going over it again.  Then we just went around the circle introducing ourselves and sharing thoughts--both insightful and touching. I loved it--I hope others who made it did too. Any other thoughts or reactions?  Nadav
