I am working on a LEED for Homes project. The project has AHU units, Heat pumps and DOAS. All dwelling units has HPs. Only few units are provided with OA from DOAS while remaining has supply fan for ventilation. Some of the spaces like Amenity and Retail space has AHU (DX cooling and Electric Heating). My question is, do I have to go for system 2 for the dwelling units which are not provided with OA from DOAS? And also system-4 for the spaces with AHU? Please advise.

LEED fro Homes is a completely different rating system. Are you working on a multi-family residential project under LEED BD+C? It sounds like it.
Yes you must use a system 2 in the baseline. You might be able to use a system 4 for the other spaces if any of the exceptions to G3.1.1 apply. If not then the whole baseline system is a system 2.

Marcus, Thanks for the reply.
Yes, I am working on multifamily residential project. Sorry my question was not clear. The DOAS has furnace heating. So I have to go for system 1 for all the dwelling unit which has ventilation from DOAS and system 2 for all the dwelling units with ventilation from supply fan. Is this right?

That makes the most sense to me.
