Now I'm working on a project located in a very hot climate country and arid region. The nature of the land their is a natural desert where water scarcity is a big challenge to the country. The rainfall intensity is very minimal. The project soil conditions do not allow for adequate infiltration on site; near seashore.

In view of the above, the storm water of the site will be collected by using the roads slopes to direct the water towards bio-swales surrounding the project. The bio swale section is planted and acts as channel too. The bioswale directs the water towards a transmission pipe located in the lowest point of the bio-swale. The transmission pipe transmits water to a stormwater collection pond within the site-wide .

The question is; Does the above described system complies with the LEED requirements concerning the rainwater management credit?
