Vertical Garden

Please clarify whether a project needs to have vegetated space at a minimum of 5% of the site area. If yes, will vertical gardens count to this area in order to exceed the minimum 5% requirement? However, please note that it is understood that vertical gardens do not count to SS credits 5.1 and 5.2. Thank you in advance,
