Hi,
We are working on a C&S project. We know that the spaces on the Ground Floor will be Restaurants and Sales spaces.
For being a C&S building all the floors are now open space offices, with no other occupancy category.
But we get the following Technical Advice:
"The VRP calculations only include an office space occupancy category for the future Tenant office fit-outs. Core an Shell buildings typicallyhave multiple types of occupancy categories (such as office, conference, and break rooms) and this distribution of people and spaces must be taken into account in the calculations. Update VRP calculatios to include additional occupancy category types, such as conference rooms, corridos, break rooms, etc. ensure that the break out of spaces is consistent with Table PIF3-1 in PIF3: Occupant and Usage Data"
But we don´t have such a space definition on any Floor, so, what should we do?, Should we assume some arbritrary layout for every Floor, knowing that it will not be true.
Thank you,
Paula

Assume arbitrary layouts and default occupancy counts.....it is not expected this will be exactly true but it gets the vent calcs to be a little bit more close to correct than running them as 100% office.
opinion time....not a fan of the "ensure that the break out of spaces is consistent with Table PIF3-1".
The breakout of the PIf3 table should be general such as "office, retail, restaurant, etc." it should not list "conference room, breakroom, training room, storage, etc..". If the table in PIf3 matched our ventilation calculator it would be enormous.
Good Luck!

Hello everyones
In recent days I have been working on a project with 3 levels of retail spaces. Also we have 20 levels of office spaces. The retail spaces are part of the tenant scope so my question is: In the project information data do we have to add the retail area or just the office area?
