CI-v4 EQc9:Acoustic performance

How many sample locations for measurement?

I am looking to take mic measurements of the ambient noise in our space to provide a baseline for HVAC Background Noise.  The Acoustic performance Calculator specifies the following:

"Complete the table with calculations or measurements for all acoustically critical spaces/room types or worst case combinations of room assemblies. Rooms may be grouped into a single room type if their floor assemblies, ceiling assemblies, wall assemblies and adjacent spaces are identical.  For each space, all surface materials and their associated surface area must be listed."

The entire space (all eight floors, CI within a LEED Platinum Core & Shell building) utilizes open office areas and a series of team rooms and small conference space.  There are no private offices in the space.

Question 1: How would I define the adjacencies outlined in the STCc table?   Would it be "Office, Conference Room" to "Hallway Stairway" for all spaces?

Question 2: If there is only one space adjacency/type in the entire build-out, how many testing areas are needed per floor?  Is there a square footage rule-of-thumb?

Question 3: If each floor is largely the same in terms of layout (open office perimeter, with core shared huddle and team rooms on every floor), would each floor need to be measured, or could one floor be measured as a "typical" example of all the rest?

Hi Brian. Could you please tell me how you handled this? For a project I'm working on, I'm in a similar situation.
