In C&S project, the reference guide has provide a Default Occupancy Numbers for calculating the building occupant.
In this credit, we have to provide 1 on-site shower for the first 100 regular building occupants and 1 additional shower for every 150 regular building occupants thereafter.
When calculating the regular building occupants, does transients count toward?
For example, a Project type of "Retail, general" with 550,000 sft GFA, then there will be 1,000 employees and 4,231 transients.
Do we need [1+(1,000-100)/150 = 7] or [1+(1000+4231-100)/150 = 36] numbers of showers?
