I have a project that is an Airport Terminal. The Leed boundary includes the runways. Concerning the Credit "Rainwater management": Do the runways participate at the calculations? Is there a possibility to exclude the runways and the main apron from the calculations? I mean on the runways there are specific materials that must be used. To use porous materials would be impossible. And the runway areas and the main apron are increasing the run off volume. My understanding is that runways must be included. But I was hoping to get a feedback. Thank you

Yes, you must include the new runway development. However, I'm not seeing a huge issue with managing these areas, are they not surrounded by lawn areas?
