Our state bye law does not mention any limit for maximum parking. but the parking requirement meets the baseline criteria of LEED. how should we consider this credit? kindly clarify.

Hi Prakash, the LEED credit requires that you not exceed the local minimum, so whether the law sets a maximum or not should not matter. The credit is written to encourage projects to reduce parking below the local minimum (via a variance, or pooled parking, or other strategies) if the local minimum exceeds the number required for credit achievement.
