I'm having some doubts regarding how to model the baseline (BB) building.
When modelling a baseline system (system #5 - VAV):
1) -
In order to determine if a BB HVAC system needs exhaust energy recovery using ASHRAE 90.1 - 2010 table 6.5.6.1, do the % of OA and supply airflow rate refer to that baseline system or do they refer to the corresponding Proposed Design (PD) HVAC system (modeling the same spaces)?

In the BB building, for a space that has more than 50 m2 and ocupancy greater than 40 people per 100 m2 and that is served by system #5 (VAV) with Exhaust energy recovery complying with section 6.5.6.1. As per ASHRAE 90.1 - 2010, section 6.4.3.9 (Demand Control Ventilation), does the space needs to be modeled with demand control ventilation or is it exempted by exception a)?
