NC-v4 MPR2:Must use reasonable LEED boundaries

I have a site with existing buildings, and I will attach a new building intended for LEED certificate to the existing buildings, which aren't pursuing LEED.  I need to know if that complies with MPR2, knowing that I intend to subtract the existing buildings' areas from the site area.
