The credit language for EQc6 GC - Custodial Effectiveness Assessment requires the project team to "Implement the strategies set forth in the facility’s green cleaning policy and perform routine inspection and monitoring."

For projects pursuing Option 2 in EQ Green Cleaning Policy where the project may not have a comprehensive GCP that complies with Option 1, can we just document - for purpose of EQc6 compliance - that inspections and monitoring have been performed based on the building owner's standard cleaning policy?

Hi Shakir, that approach should work. And I actually don't see anywhere on the EQc6 form where you'd have to confirm/respond to that statement directly. I think the EQc6 language just accidentally missed the fact that some projects might comply with EQp3 using a certified cleaning service, which is a brand new compliance option in the v4 rating system.
