The LEED Reference Guide includes recommended square footages based on building size, but remember, there is no minimum size requirement in LEED v4. Teams are instead encouraged to think through the expected amount of waste generated to be by occupants, and consider other factors like pick-up frequency, in order to adequately size the project’s recyclables collection/storage areas.
