Hi everyone,
We have an issue in “j. Continuous sidewalks” which requires having 1.5 meters and 3 meters sidewalk along the entire circulation network.
As our circulation network has two levels, we have to continue sidewalk at level transition (L1 and L2). So, our team plans to provide escalators at the level transition between L1 and L2. The question is, can using escalators at the level difference of the sidewalk comply with the requirement? If can, is there any other conditions of escalators required (width, amount, position etc.)? If not complied, are there any alternatives that we can connect the sidewalk at the level transition. Does it need to be stairs or it can be something else?
Any suggestions?
Thank you
