A LEEDuser member received the following response from GBCI in August 2018:

“When using this as an Innovation credit for a BD+C project, the project must demonstrate compliance with Option 1, at a minimum. As this would be an innovation point, however, additional points could not be earned for demonstrating compliance with Option 2 or Option 3. The project could not earn a point for earning the additional Option 2 or Option 3 requirements without demonstrating compliance with Option 1.”
