Good afternoon everyone,
could anyone point me to some author or literature that talks about maintenance and construction after the building is certified? Because I knew that after the certified building if the owner makes changes outside the LEED standards previously established, the owner does not lose certification. And I need an author to clarify this fact to me.

Hi Andreza, certifications achieved under a LEED Building Design + Construction rating systems (NC, CI, CS) do not expire and USGBC will not take away a certification based on how the building is being operated. LEED for Existing Building certifications require recertification, typically at least once every five years, to keep the certification current. Hope that helps.
