Hi,
I am supporting the WCNR - Michael Smith Addition (project #: 1000075260). We are putting together evidence for task lighting at a workstation area. LEED asks that we "Provide representative drawings or floor plans identifying the lighting controls". We're attempting to show that we have task lighting for workstations (individually occupied spaces) in an open office area. There are no Construction Drawings that show the placement of task lights, so we outlined the open office area with that shows the furniture placement, workstations and labeled it "ALL WORKSTATIONS IN RED BOX WILL HAVE TASK LIGHTING INSTALLED". Our engineer and architect on the project are hoping the previously described drawing will be adequate to prove where we are placing the task lights.
Will this suffice?

I have had this exact comment on my last two projects. Understand the difficulty in showing task lights on construction documents as these are often owner purchased items. We have been successful in review response by showing task light locations on plans (ex. red dot at each location) AND uploading a letter from the Owner or other responsible party for task light purchase confirming the quantity (align with the plans) that will be purchased and a manufacturer / model number for the task light that will be purchased (or similar).
