Hi Zakir, the response rate will impact the extrapolation factor. The higher your response rate, the more you can extrapolate the raw rate of alternative transportation to non-respondents. This will typically help your overall performance because you'll get some level of additional credit for alternative transit, rather than having to count all non-respondents as single occupant commuters. There's a table in the Reference Guide that shows response rates and the corresponding extrapolation factor. The USGBC calculator for this credit will automatically complete the extrapolation for you.
