SCMs in recycled content calculations

Hello!
Can we calculate recycled content in SCMs in the same way as it is applicable in LEED v3?
Thank you in advance for your answer.

The best guidance I have been able to find is from the MR Overview section of the reference guide, under the "Determining Material Contributions of an Assembly".  There isn't anything specific about concrete but it does discuss homogeneous materials.  Without further guidance, I would say that the treatment of concrete doesn't consider portland cement reduction.  It sounds like project teams would be able to either report cost of recycled components (e.g. fly ash, slag, silica fume, recycled aggregate) directly or the use total cost of concrete multiplied by % (by weight) of recycled components.

Allison, I don't see anything in the Recycled Content section of the reference guide for SCM's. Is it in the overview section?

Jolene -  I agree, the MR Overview section is the most detailed explanation. This starts on page 467 of my reference guide. "Determining Material Contributions of an Assembly begins on page 471. The explanation is not specific to SCM's, rather it is an explanation on how to calculate the recycled content of a product.
