It has been great to see the discussion forum gaining traction as a tool for us all.
When we met for the first time at Greenbuild last year, we mentioned that one of the goals of the group was to have an annual in-person meeting where we could strategize on how to improve our roles, our companies, and the industry.
The immediate feedback we received was that this meeting would be most easily paired with Greenbuild – at least initially – so that everyone could double-up on booking travel and lodging. So, that is our official plan: We are organizing a full day gathering on the Tuesday before Greenbuild at Cushman & Wakefield’s WELL certified office space, so mark your calendars.
Details of the day will be coming, but we know that it will be facilitated by Nadav Malin (the President at BuildingGreen who hosts our forum), and we will be putting together an agenda for the day.
Jenn and I will be taking on some of the planning, but if two others want to help get involved as a steering committee that would be excellent. If you're interested in helping plan, either reply to this post or just send a direct email to Jenn and myself at sburke@consigli.com and jennifer.taranto@structuretone.com.
This event is only open to those in this group, and there will be a small fee to cover the costs, so expect to see something comparable to a pre-Greenbuild workshop fee.
Online forums are great, but nothing replaces the in-person experience. So, we hope that everyone is able and willing to join. More details to come soon. Thanks!
