Hi,

Is there any specific guidance on how IT server rooms in Office buildings should be modeled in the Proposed and Baseline building in terms of the air -conditioning units installed to keep the computer racks cool. Do these rooms need their own specific systems in the models ?

Quite often these rooms will require the application of an exception to G3.1.1. These exceptions must be applied. In some cases if the cooling equipment is only for cooling the IT equipment it can be considered a process load and modeled identically as well. If it is a relatively small area either approach would probably be accepted.
