The documentation requirements for credits are contained on the credit forms in LEED Online and in the Reference Guide. You need to buy the Reference Guide. The form for this credit can be downloaded here - https://www.usgbc.org/resources/integrative-process-worksheet - outside LEED Online.

Hi Marcus,
Thanks for the comment. Am I required to complete this document as well as the LEED v4 precertification worksheet (that can be downloaded from LEED V4 Precert Tab)

Are you following the precertification option? That is available for an additional fee of $4000/$5000 on top of the regular certification fees. If you are not following this path select the path you are following under the Timeline tab in LEED Online and the credit forms should change to the ones you will need to submit for certification.

Precertification is optional for all projects and it has a separate fee associated with it (see below). If you are not pursuing this path click on the timeline button and select the combined or split submission. Once you do the normal credit forms will appear for all the credits.

Hey Marcus,
Thanks for your response. Does that mean the "Precert" section and excel template is only for pre-certification projects?
I'm just trying to get my head around what documents and how i compile my documents when submitting.

For this credit just follow the documentation requirements. Make sure to adequately engage in the evaluation performed by the studies required. Don't just treat this as a checklist item but really engage in evaluation of the opportunities in a holistic manner. Question your assumptions, then question them again. Understand the overall integrative process and the value these studies can provide in the context of the overall process. If you really understand the intent of this credit then the documentation should be easy. Your documentation should demonstrate and reflect that understanding.

Hi!!
We are in the pre-certification instance, completing the worksheet. It is not clear to me if in the precertification worksheet we must explain the specific strategies chosen in the project or explain the research we have done, what we have studied about the environment, the site, etc.
Thanks!

Hi Yanina, you do need to provide specific details about which parameters you have studied. The strategies you use to adapt may not be developed yet but the reviewer will want to see what you are analyzing to figure out which strategies you will use.
On a recent precert project we received a comment requesting a narrative stating that we analyzed at least two load reduction strategies for each parameter listed in the credit.
